This award is a fantastic recognition of the time, dedication, and passion Wayne brings to grassroots football. While trophies and medals are won on the pitch, clubs like ours are built by volunteers working tirelessly behind the scenes and Wayne is a perfect example of that.

Since helping establish Beighton Juniors FC, Wayne has played a key role in shaping the club's future. Whether he's coaching on a Tuesday evening, supporting the boys on matchdays, organising club administration, working with the committee, securing sponsorships, or promoting the club across social media, his commitment never goes unnoticed.

But this award is about much more than the hours he gives. It's about the positive impact he has on every child who pulls on a Beighton Juniors shirt. Creating a fun, safe, and inclusive environment where young players can learn, develop, and enjoy football is always at the heart of everything he does. Wayne's enthusiasm is infectious. He celebrates every goal, encourages every player, and reminds us all that grassroots football is about developing confidence, friendships, teamwork, and a lifelong love for the game.
