OUR DIGITAL HUB
Putting Parents at the Heart of Beighton Juniors FC
At Beighton Juniors FC, we want to do things differently.
From the moment a player joins us, our aim is to give parents a clear view of how the club operates, where their money goes and how their child is developing.
That's why we've invested in creating our Beighton Juniors Hub and Coaches Hub — bringing more of the club's information, communication and processes into one simple, digital and mobile-friendly platform.
Putting control in parents' hands
We know parents are busy, so we've designed the Hub to work around them.
Rather than relying on paperwork, WhatsApp messages or parents having to search through different platforms for information, we're bringing everything together digitally and making it easily accessible from a mobile phone, tablet or computer.
The aim is simple:
If you need to know something about Beighton Juniors, you should be able to find it easily.
Parents can access important club information, updates, fixtures, payment information, committee contacts, sponsors, our charity partners and other useful resources directly through the Hub.
It puts more information in parents' hands, giving them greater visibility and control without needing to wait for someone to send an update.
Transparency around our finances
We believe parents should have confidence in how their monthly subscriptions and other club income are being used.
The Hub allows us to provide greater visibility around subscriptions, fundraising, sponsorship and club expenditure.
Running a grassroots football club comes with plenty of costs — pitch hire, league and FA fees, equipment, footballs, referees, insurance, kits, training facilities and much more.
By making more of this information accessible digitally, we can help parents understand where the money goes and how we're reinvesting it back into the club and the players.
Supporting the charities we partner with
Being part of the local community is important to us, which is why Beighton Juniors FC has partnered with Be More Elemie, and Harvey's Hub.
We've given each of our charity partners their own space within the Beighton Juniors Hub, allowing parents to easily find out more about the organisations we support and access their websites and social media directly.
We want our families to know who we're supporting, why we're supporting them and how they can get involved.
Our charity partnerships will also form an important part of our wider fundraising and community activity as Beighton Juniors continues to grow.
We're not just building a football club — we're building something that contributes to the wider community around us.
Tracking your child's development
Our Coaches Hub is another important part of this.
From the day a player joins Beighton Juniors, we want to maintain a clear picture of their footballing journey.
Coaches can use the Hub to track development across areas such as technical ability, understanding of the game, teamwork, attitude, effort, behaviour, progress and areas for future development.
This gives us a much better foundation for conversations with parents.
Instead of simply saying "they're doing well," we can talk about what they've improved, what they're doing particularly well and what we're going to work on next.
Coaches and parents working together
We want parents to feel involved in their child's development.
The Coaches Hub gives our coaching team a consistent way to record and discuss development, while the wider digital Hub gives parents a clear window into the club.
It's about creating a partnership between player, parent and coach.
A modern grassroots football club
We're proud that Beighton Juniors isn't just following the traditional grassroots football model.
We're using technology to make the club more organised, more accessible and more transparent.
Less paperwork.
Less searching through messages.
More information in one place.
More visibility.
More communication.
And ultimately, more control in the hands of our parents.
We're still developing the Hub and will continue adding features and information as the club grows.
Because for us, being a modern grassroots football club isn't about technology for the sake of it.
It's about using technology to make life easier for our families, support our coaches, give back to our community and give our players the best possible environment to develop.
Beighton Juniors FC
More than just football. We're building a club together.
